# Overview

> Release your project and run its Blueprints in production — connect via API, export to n8n, generate code, or embed in websites.

Once you have built and tested your Blueprints, you can run them in production and integrate them into your applications, workflows, and websites. Leapter handles the execution infrastructure — you choose how to connect.

## From the editor to production

Getting a project into production takes three steps:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Release">
    Create a [release](/release-and-integrate/releases) of your project. Production always runs the latest release, so the changes you keep making in the editor don't reach callers until you release again.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect">
    Call the **public** Blueprints of your release through the [REST API](/release-and-integrate/connect-rest-api), [MCP](/release-and-integrate/connect-mcp), or an [n8n workflow](/release-and-integrate/n8n-http). Each of these needs an [API key](/release-and-integrate/api-keys).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Monitor">
    Watch how your release runs in [Insights](/release-and-integrate/insights): its health, every production run, and which parts of your logic are used.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## The Share menu

All integration options start from the **Share** button in the Blueprint Editor toolbar. Click it to see the available options:

| Option | What it does |
| :- | :- |
| **Connect** | Get API endpoints for MCP or REST API integration |
| **n8n** | Export ready-made n8n workflows (HTTP, Code, or MCP Agent) |
| **Code** | View your Blueprints as JavaScript, Python, or Veritas code |
| **Embed** | Get an HTML snippet to embed an interactive Blueprint viewer |
| **PNG** | Download an image of the complete specification, or of the Blueprint you have maximized |
| **Export** | Download the project's source files as a `.leap.zip` archive |
| **Link** | Generate a [public read-only link](/workspace/sharing) so anyone can read the project's Specification view — no Leapter account required (rolling out behind a feature flag; may not be available in your environment yet) |

## Integration options

### Connect via API

Leapter exposes the public Blueprints of your latest release through two protocols:

* **[AI Protocol (MCP)](/release-and-integrate/connect-mcp)** — connect AI assistants and agents using the Model Context Protocol. Ideal for Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible tools.
* **[Web API (OpenAPI)](/release-and-integrate/connect-rest-api)** — call your Blueprints through a standard REST API from any application. Includes a full OpenAPI specification.

Both require an [API key](/release-and-integrate/api-keys) for authentication.

### Export to n8n

Leapter can generate complete n8n workflows that you import directly into n8n:

* **[HTTP Workflow](/release-and-integrate/n8n-http)** — calls your released Blueprint via HTTP API
* **[Code Workflow](/release-and-integrate/n8n-code)** — runs your Blueprint logic directly as JavaScript inside n8n, with no external API calls
* **[MCP Agent Workflow](/release-and-integrate/n8n-mcp-agent)** — creates an AI agent that uses your public Blueprints as tools

### View as code

**[Export as Code](/release-and-integrate/export-code)** shows your Blueprint logic transpiled to JavaScript or Python. Use it for code review, porting logic to other systems, or documentation.

### Embed in websites

**[Embed in Websites](/release-and-integrate/embed)** gives you an HTML snippet with a web component that renders an interactive, read-only view of your Blueprint. No authentication required — the Blueprint data is embedded directly in the code.

## Monitor production runs

Every call to your project through the REST API, MCP, or an n8n workflow is recorded as a production run. To see them, click **Insights** in the top toolbar of the editor. [Insights](/release-and-integrate/insights) shows a summary of your project's health, lists every run with its inputs and outputs, replays a run on the diagram, and turns a run into a test case.

## What to do next

* **[Releases](/release-and-integrate/releases)** — create your first release and choose which Blueprints are public
* **[API Keys](/release-and-integrate/api-keys)** — create API keys to authenticate your integrations
* **[Web API (OpenAPI)](/release-and-integrate/connect-rest-api)** — integrate with any application via REST
